Testo +

Here Adapt Nutrition athlete Dan Walls explains a little about some of the key ingredients that you will find in Testo+

 TESTO

Let’s kick off with a fact… the fact is the more testosterone you have the more muscle you are likely to gain during your time dedicated to training. Testosterone belongs to group of hormones known as androgens which are responsible for starting and directing the growth of male traits during puberty, though they also play a role in the growth and development of females. In adults androgen levels are related to muscle mass, sex drive and aggressiveness. Testosterone in particular is the key hormone when increasing muscle mass and changing body composition is the primary goal. Testosterone does this by binding to the cells on the surface of the muscle and amplifying the biochemical signal in the muscle tissue that increases protein synthesis.

Adapt nutrition have developed a completely natural product backed up by extensive research to give us the prime ingredients at optimal doses for increasing testosterone and muscle mass.

Let’s take a look…

D-aspartic Acid

D-aspartic acid (DAA) is one of two forms of the amino acid aspartic acid. It is used as a testosterone booster for infertile men, and by athletes to increase performance. The heightened testosterone levels caused by D-AA last a week to a week and a half but if taken regularly will stay elevated. D-AA helps to stimulate the release of hormones such as luteinizing hormone, follicle stimulating hormone and growth hormone. It works by increasing steriodogenic acute regulatory (StAR) protein. It’s found in the testes and is a rate limiting step in testosterone synthesis. Increasing the activity of StAR is one of the main ways D-AA helps to increase testosterone and it was shown in human studies that D-AA can give roughly a 30% increase in testosterone production which is amazing for a completely natural product.

Magnesium

Magnesium is the number 1 mineral for bodybuilders and strength athletes. When supplemented it increases training output and boosts ATP production. If that wasn’t enough research has also shown a positive correlation between magnesium and lean tissue growth rates. Magnesium also plays a role in lipid (fat) metabolism and therefore the production of testosterone. There is such thing as to much magnesium but Adapt nutrition have very kindly gave us the recommended amount for athletes and bodybuilders in their serving of testo+.

Zinc

Zinc is downright essential for growth, the mineral zinc is involved in virtually all phases of growth. This mineral is of major importance to bodybuilders or athletes as studies have shown that high intensity exercise stimulates excessive zinc loss, as does some styles of dieting. So if you’re not mindful of your zinc intake your growth could be compromised. Often called the sex mineral and for good reason, the mineral zinc has been proven time and time again to boost testosterone levels and stimulate sperm production in the testes.

Avena Sativa

Avena Stavia is a traditional herbal remedy used to support the mind body and spirit. Dates as far back as 200 years ago introduced by German Pharmacopoeia and known for its stimulating affect. This may be why avena sativa is commonly used today to support hormone levels, increase energy and encourage a healthy sexual response in men. As we all know testosterone is the main sex hormone in men however, the body can only use free testosterone. Avena sativa increases the luteinizing hormone levels. Luteinizing hormones are released by the pituitary gland and tell the testes to produce more testosterone. Avena sativa also encourages the freeing up of bound testosterone to support healthy sexual response and all other benefits that can only be experienced when testosterone levels are adequate.

White button mushroom

White button mushrooms are very effective way of lowering your oestrogen levels thus indirectly boosting testosterone levels. They do this by inhibiting the aromatase enzyme that converts testosterone to oestrogen. In all studies it has been found that the more extract you take the less aromatase enzyme and therefore less oestrogen was produced.

Conclusion

Literally anyone can benefit from Testo+. Natural athletes can use this to give more edge and aggression to their training, keeping testosterone levels high and increasing muscle mass. Assisted athletes can use this to keep testosterone levels raised after a cycle enabling you to keep hold of that valuable tissue. This means no maintenance cycle enabling your body to have a break, so when you go back on cycle the improvements will be greater. Testo+ is also safe to use for woman who want help towards gaining muscle, because women should lift!
